Lotiola & Kids' Tour of Levuka

Malo e lelei, Bula vinaka, and greetings from the old capital of Fiji!

Just a brief account of Lotiola & kids' tour of Levuka to accompany the photos! We left Suva on Sunday afternoon by bus, to the jetty at Natovi, straight to the boat "Spirit of Harmony" and onward to Levuka. The kids were a bit scared due to the recent tragedy of the Princess Ashika. However, I assured them that nothing will happen. They thoroughly enjoyed the trip by bus, on the boat, and bus again to my school!

As you can see from the photos, we had a great time. We toured Levuka town, which is under 'world heritage' and enjoyed the colonial face of the small town. Back at school, the golf clinic began! Susitina, Soana, Sefo, and Tu'a were hooked into the game! I told them if only they get a fraction of their grandad's skill in cricket they would be very good in golf like their uncle (me)!!

The trip culminated in the celebration of Soana's 10th Birthday! We had lunch at our famous restaurant in town and then special dinner at home with cakes and ice cream. The other 3 were complaining saying that Soana's BD was really special!

I asked them if anyone would like to come for school here in St.John's College, they all kept quiet. Then Sefo said to me if the food is good he'll come! Like father, like son, always thinking of the food first!

Anyway, that's all for now. So if anyone wants to come for a visit to Levuka you can start booking now! Do take care and keep up the good work wherever you are.

My heartfelt congratulations to the newly weds and those who recently celebrate their BD's in the family. I'm united with you in prayers and in thoughts.

'Ofa lahi atu & hufaki,
