Seasonal Greetings from Matahau

Seasonal Greetings to you all from Matahau!

This is neither the normal news update from the lalo kalosipani nor the updates from Levuka!!

I arrived here on Monday, just in time to be part of the celebrations of the Ordinations of 4 of the young men in the Diocese. Since then, it has been feasting and celebrations, and what a way to re-connect with the Friendly Isles!!!

I haven't touched the huo or knife yet as I need to re-orientate myself to the new surroundings here!! However, I've made a tour of the garden, the ma'ala and the manioke. They still look good and I'll start next week. Remember guys I'm on holiday!

Maliana & Lotiola are well, and apparently pleased that I'm around at this time. Yes, it's so great to be home after 2 years. I know I'm going to enjoy it. I've also started befriending Saimone Jr and re-introducing myself to Milika!! They are both fun to be with.

Just in case I don't have a chance to come to town again to the Net Cafe, may I wish you all and your respective families a very Merry Christmas and a New Year, filled with the blessings and graces of the new-born child, Jesus.

'Ofa lahi atu & hufaki,

Ekuasi
