Belated Happy New Year from Sr Saane
Thank you for accepting me to enter this marvellous web site. Belated wishes of happy new year to everyone. I am fine and happy in my mission.I am happy too that my brother Napa is close by, everytime I come down to this place I try to ring him. Where I work in the Sierra as they called it, we don´t have access to a phone or internet, but there is a public phone where we can be lucky to get in if it works. I am so happy to see the photos of everyone, Fr. Unaloto is getting thinner and Fr. Ekuasi too. Happy life eh! So nice to hear news from Fr. Tavo. So happy to see Maliana and the gang in Tonga, my saliva runs when seeing them sitting around the table to eat, imagining the roasted pig, ha ha ha.
So sad to hear the news that our house got burned down, but I talked to mum on the phone and it helps a lot for she seems to be alright and thank God no one got burned inside. I will go to Lima in February for the celebrations of our 50 years of our presence here in Peru. Our new general mother will be coming to this celebration with one of her council which is Sr Nive a Tongan, so a good group of us Tongans will be there. Sr Soana Taliauli from Fasi, Sr. Nive from Maufanga, Sr. Helen Muller from Fatai, Fr. Palenapa and I.
Well this is all the news for now. Good to hear from Lana and her family, remembered very well all of them from my time of working there in Samoa. They are so lovely, saying hallo to each one of you. Hi to Fr. Hiko, hope to hear more from you. We continue to pray for each other and always united in our prayers. With our mother Mary.
