Hello everyone,

Hope this message finds you all in good health. I've enjoyed reading all the news of the families here that I want to tell you also something about my corner of the world. First of all, thank you all for the news and photos which often make me feel as if you guys are just around the corner from here. But this is to let you know that I'll be leaving again for Florida this coming Friday to spend a few days with our families there. Ok, I can already hear you guys saying, "he was just there last December!" Well, that's true, but this time it's different because I will not be going alone. For the first time, I will be taking my family with me to meet the Tavos in Florida which makes me think it's also time to introduce the rest of the Tavo clan here in Europe to you too, whom you can see in the photo below taken from her office website. Her name is Kara. She is my wife or should I say "my better half". I guess for most of you she would be 'aunty Kara'. She is pictured here below at her work place where I also work.

We'll be spending a few days in Tampa with Poini, Lua and families before returning to New York for a few days there and then fly back here to Europe in time for work, unless of course another volcano goes bust! Yesterday, we attended the 25th wedding anniversary of Kara's eldest brother (Paul) and his wife (Ingrid) and I've just posted photos from that celebration with some explanations so to give you guys some idea of my Flemish relatives here in Belgium. I'll be taking my camera to Florida so we'll post here photos of our families there when we get back.
