One Down, Two to Go

Greetings to you all families & friends!

I'll publish some photos later on from our game last weekend but I'd just like to say a big vinaka vakalevu for your prayers and support for my boys. They played their hearts out for the school, and like true Sons of Cawaci, they came out victorious in the end!

When it was full time the score was 17 all so they had to go for extra time. They went as far as 10 mins and still no score. In the end the officials ruled that St. John's College won the game as we had 3 tries and only 2 for Nasinu. By the way Nasinu is the champ from the Suva Zone and they were a very good Team. They led 14 - 0 at half-time. I went in and told my boys, "Guys, look we have come a long way and have sacrificed a lot to come this far, make it count. So believe in yourselves and let's show these fellows we are from Cawaci!" That did the trick and sparked off a very heroic performance in the second half.

1 down, 2 to go! With the win on Saturday the boys have really affirmed to themselves that nothing is impossible if they continue to believe in themselves.

By the way, my sympathy goes to the Aussies! And now I lend my full support for the Reunion to be held in Bundaberg because that's where the celebrations will be next year after the World Cup!!!

Have a blessed week!

Ekuasi
