St. John's College Update
Bula vinaka and greetings to you all!

The Academic Year 2011 has kicked off well for us here at St. John's, meaning there was no cyclone at the beginning of the year as it has been the case for the past few years! My sincere gratitude to all of you for your support last year and I humbly ask that you continue to do so again this year.
As you can see from the photos from Aotearoa, The Matahau Golf Team, that was the best part of my holiday, playing golf! I thoroughly enjoyed being with 'Akata, 'Etu and the kids, and my word, they are springing up pretty fast!
My heartfelt congratulations to all the newest members of the family, either through birth or marriage. Surely the descendants of Abraham will have more to come!
I heard that Fr. 'Unaloto has finally arrived at his new Parish, St. Agnes in Samabula. He will miss the 'sipi' in Tonga but there are more in Suva unfortunately!!
Certainly Hiko will miss the mass stipends in Samoa! My hearty congratulations to Hiko for his new responsibility as the Regional Superior of Samoa. I'm sure he can handle both the teaching and administrating the Marists in Samoa.
When I was in Sydney the flooding in Bundaberg had just started but let me assure you all the Bundaberg Clan is ready to host the Reunion this year. That unfortunate event hasn't dampened the spirit of the host family one bit!!
So all the best for all the plans lining up for this year! By the way, how can I forget, one of my greatest joys during my break in NZ was to meet the 'Princess Ysabella'!! No wonder grandpa Tony is so proud and of course the most caring 'baby sitter' Clare!!
'Ofa lahi atu & hufaki,
'Ekuasi
